“I looked for someone who might rebuild the wall of righteousness that guards the land. I searched for someone to stand in the gap in the wall so I wouldn’t have to destroy the land, but I found no one.” (Ezekiel 22:30)
In the time of Ezekiel, God was looking for someone to build the walls of righteousness. Someone that would stand in the gap. Today is no different. God is still looking for someone, a man or woman, just someone that is on fire for God and will rebuild the walls that have been destroyed. My question to you is, do we need revival or reformation? I believe that we need reformation. We need complete change from what we see happening in our nation, our community and our churches. Revival means that there is a fire burning and we want to make the fire grow hotter. The problem for most of us, the fire is not even burning. We need to start a fire in our lives that will spread from us to others. To start this fire, we need reformation, which means changing our thinking from worldly to spiritually. This reformation is complete surrender to God.
The greatest miracle on the day of Pentecost was a total transformation of the disciples. God set a fire in their souls. This fire burned strong and this small group of men and women turned the world upside down for Jesus Christ.
Today is that fire burning in your heart? If not, don’t you think that you should ask God to start that fire? To change your life completely.
