“Then we will no longer be immature like children. We won’t be tossed and blown about by every wind of new teaching. We will not be influenced when people try to trick us with lies so clever they sound like the truth.” (Ephesians 4:14)
So many times we are told that everything bad comes from Satan. That all good things come from God. Yes, God does give good things to His children, but the scripture tells us that if we are in the will of God everything will work out for our good. I know that in my life things that has happened; things that I felt was bad has turned out to be from God.
No matter what the current teaching on faith is, God is not your personal vending machine. In order to grow in our walk with God, at times we must go through the wilderness.
The wilderness is a place of purification. A place where God trains and leads us in the right direction. It is a place where we mature into the disciples of Jesus Christ that we are meant to be.
Satan wants us to remain immature. Satan has no problem with Christians that just go to church and do nothing for the Kingdom of God.
Satan attacks you when you pray and move forward for God. In order to grow in God we must have a persistent and methodical prayer life. If we pray, we can and will live a victorious life for Jesus Christ.
“So you cannot become my disciple without giving up everything you own.” (Luke 14:33)
