Liturgical-Worship – “Lent” The Fruit of the Spirit, Joy!

Galatians 5:22 (NIV)
22 But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace,
forbearance, kindness, goodness, faithfulness

Nehemiah 8:10, the joy of the LORD is your
strength

Joy, we all want to be happy, and we seek joy from
so many places. Sometimes from the wrong
places. We look to money, we look to recognition
from man, some even look for joy in food. The
word of God is clear, the joy that comes from God
is our strength. Sometimes we rely too much on
our own strength and we bump our heads against
the wall for nothing. When all along we should
have been relying on God. Today let God fill you
with His Love, and His joy. As we reflect on Christ
during Lent, let us be joyful as we thank God for
giving his only son for us. Be joyful In God and
draw your strength from him.

Pray: Thank you God for your strength, I know I
cannot do it on my own, but help me to be joyful
everyday. Thank you for all that I have because it
comes from you. Amen!
